Producers Livestock, San Angelo, Texas, reported receipt of 484 head of cattle selling June 6, compared to 482 head a week ago and 862 head a year ago, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, Amarillo, Texas.

Compared to a week ago, there were not enough of any class for a good market test. A lower undertone prevailed on calves and yearlings. Slaughter cows and bulls were trading steady.Trading and demand was moderate on a rain shortened supply. The supply included 82% feeder cattle with 50% steers, 31% were heifers, 19% were bulls; 14% was slaughter cattle with 85% cows and 15% were bulls; 4% was replacement cattle with 100% stock cows. The feeder cattle supply weighing over 600 pounds was 67%.
